How does your pricing work ?
You pay a booking free of $100. That is included in your overall session price. The remainder balance is due at the of our session together. This fee is not refundable, however if the session is canceled or rescheduled the fee can be applied to any future session.
How will I get my images?
During your session I will take many images and hand pick the best to include in your gallery. Images will be delivered through an online gallery from where you can order professional quality prints and products. The gallery may be shared with friends and family. You can use your print release to order prints anywhere but I can’t guarantee the quality unless printed though your gallery via a professional lab. In order to preserve the integrity of the images and my work, please do not crop, edit, or add filters to the images. Although not mandatory, tagging Alimegreendream Photography on social media is always appreciated.
What can I expect during my session?
Prepare to have fun and enjoy playing and being with your family. We won’t force the kids to say cheese or be stiff for the camera, however I will lightly pose and direct you to have natural interactions. So please don’t worry if your child is not "behaving nice" or "on their best behavior" just trust me I've got this!
How long will my session last?
You have an option to book a 1 hour or 2 hour session with me. Unless it is an event.
2 hour sessions are more documentary based and usually take place in the comfort of your home. They involve you playing with your kids, reading to them, cooking, going to a playground etc. Capturing your life as it is right now!
1 hour session usually takes place at a location of your choosing that has a meaning for your family.
In home newborn sessions usually are up to 90 minutes.
Event sessions last for as long as you need me to be there. The minimum is 2 hours.
What should we wear?
The most important is for you to be comfortable and yourself. Choose complementary colors and avoid being "matchy matchy”. Stay away from combining too many textures or patterns, clothing with large logos/words/distracting prints, all white or all black clothing, or all white tops/khaki pants where everyone looks identical. What if I need to reschedule or cancel?
I get it-life happens. Rescheduling for sickness or severe weather is no problem. We'll find a new date that works for both of us at no charge. I do ask for a $100 deposit to hold your date. If you'd like to cancel and prefer not to reschedule, I unfortunately cannot return your deposit.
I am worried about my child’s behavior. What should I do?
Do*Not*Stress. I know it’s easier said then done, but please trust me on this! I am a mom and I know exactly how you are feeling. You’ll get at least one picture of everyone looking at me, I promise. But we will also give kids a chance to play, run around and be silly. Sometimes bribery can help ;)— maybe ice cream or a lollipop after?
What should we bring?
First off, make sure everyone has been fed. It’s always a good idea to bring water and maybe a couple snacks if there are little ones. I don’t use props but you are welcome to bring a blanket with you to sit and lay on. Maybe bring an extra outfit for the littles- you just never know!
I found a session on Pinterest and I want our session just like that, can you do that?
Honestly, no. My sessions are very go with the flow. They are unique to you and your family only.
Do you offer prints?
I offer beautiful high-end lay flat albums you can order from me OR you can order products right from your online gallery! If you choose to go elsewhere I do NOT recommend using Costco, Walgreens, Walmart, etc. the quality is not good.
