Why in-home newborn photography?

Your world as you know it has just turned upside down - in a greatest way possible.

You’ve just brought home your brand new baby - maybe couple of days ago, maybe last week, or maybe almost a month ago. (you weren’t ready for a session right away and that’s ok).

Maybe it’s all goes as simple and easy as you imagined or maybe your baby is still not eating well, or maybe your baby has tummy struggles ( I promise this will pass, as everything does.) Or maybe you are still recovering from delivering that tiny human.

Imagine you’d planned a newborn session, to catch these precious memories of this beautiful time.

Now you have to pack yourself into a car with your baby to a studio and hope that your baby is a perfect little angel - peaceful and calm for that posed photo session.  It just feels a little overwhelming.

That is why it in-home newborn photography is wonderful

There is no leaving the house, I come to you and make you feel relaxed. It does not matter when we have the session. It might be a week, two or five. In-home sessions aren’t depended on age, images can be stunning regardless of baby’s age.

In-home sessions are entirely baby led.  Baby is crying? That’s okay. Baby needs to be fed? Take your time. There is no rush. Let’s swaddle, snuggle and give the baby what they need.

And at the end of it all…We’ve made authentic, meaningful image with your new little family member, all while you were learning about each other and falling in love with that tiny human of yours.

This is an in-home newborn photography session that was photographed in Brooklyn, New York.

When your mama is from New York and your daddy is from London you need two blankets to represent each city!
