I love having grandparents join in on family sessions. 

This family was leaving NYC and moving back home to England had their parents come to visit them to help them move and enjoy some time together prior to making the big move. 

We met in the early morning hours in Central Park so we can have the park all to ourselves and so the dogs can run around withought a leash and have fun with us during the session. 

Today, I want to share a few reasons why you should consider bringing your parents along to your next family session.

Grandparents Can Help With Your Kiddos During Your Family Session

No matter how laid-back and fun my sessions are, there is still a time in between that can have a certain level of stress with the little ones. Babies need holding, toddlers need to run and stretch their legs, and the big need some love and attention while mom and dad are taking photos or juggling multiple kiddos. Having grandperents at your family sessions can be a big help for you as parents. 

Grandparents are Complimentary At My Family Sessions

My family is blessed with two sets of wonerful parents who love and help us with our son a lot. Since both my husband and I work weekend on weddings, elopements and other events our son is often watched by grandparents. We value our relationship with our parents and are super greatful to have them here to help us and love on our son. 

That is why I want to honor grandparents at my family session, which means I do not add any extra charge when you want to include them in your session. So bring them along and let them join in on the fun!

I love when grandparents bring extra enegry and personality to the sessions. They will interact with the kiddos, tickle them, get them to laugh and smile to show off their cute personalities. So at the end it is great for you and your kids to make these memorable photos with their grandparents!
